Thermal Plume Mapping

Thermal plume mapping was performed on part of river where Power Plant discharge water used for cooling. Study was used in license renewal process and it's intention was to determine horizontal and vertical temperature distribution and their environmental impact. Work was accomplished by deploying temperature probes mounted on the boat. Detailed vertical measuring was done on 14 points (transects) upstream and downstream of the plant.
